  • Description:

    The Service Sales Representative is responsible for selling quality and cost effective Advanced Control Building Automation Retrofit Projects and Service Maintenance Contracts to the existing building market. They prepare proposals for retrofit projects, Tenant fit-out work service work and maintenance contracts. They are also responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining relationships with the existing customer base. In addition they are to increase the product and service solutions that are provided to our existing customers (Security, Mechanical Services, CCTV) in an effort to solidify the company’s position.

  • Requirements:

    Successful candidate must have previous sales experience in the HVAC industry with a proven track record and have developed key relationship within our market. They must also participate in developing selling techniques and tactics that enhance sales success and project profitability. Experience in Controls/mechanical/service industry; advanced knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control; ability to interpret computerized cost data and systems; knowledge of Microsoft Office, QuickPen/WenPipe and other business-related software; excellent written/verbal communication skills; and ability to make effective decisions by utilizing all pertinent information and exploring all viable options. Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering preferred.


    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for design, estimation and selling process for all types of sales prospects.
    • Assist with the development of sales presentations and proposal preparation.
    • Reads and reviews drawings and blueprints.
    • Assist with calling on all existing customer and managing multiple contractors.
    • Understands the cost on the project to assure that the project are estimated accurately.
    • Meets with contractors and consulting engineers regarding project design and submittal approval. Attend job meetings if requested.
    • Manages and schedules sales calls daily.
    • Operates in a team-based environment by coordinating with other sales individuals and operations to understand and fulfill project requirements.
    • Backup to Sales Director and Sales Staff to insure customer service.
