This vacancy is a technical accounting role to support and assist the Senior Accountant in the regular areas of work of the accounting function. The role includes responsibility for US tax returns and insurance, and assists in the preparation of the overseas subsidiary VAT return and accounts packages.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the management of client-related insurance requirements General assistance and cover when required (Baillie Gifford Overseas and Baillie Gifford International) VAT, monthly and quarterly packages
Assist with the production of Overseas Board packages for the Baillie Gifford Overseas Group
Prepare and review regular and ad hoc management reports and statistics as and when required.
Assist with ad hoc projects within the Accounting team and Finance department
Assist with testing requirements for the new finance system project
Provide general assistance and cover as and when required
