Position Summary
Autonomy is a high-growth publicly traded software company based in Cambridge U.K., with development centers worldwide including Austin, Chicago, Silicon Valley, New York City, and Bangalore. We are the leader of the next generation of data intelligence – using our IDOL technology to take unstructured data (like speech, video, documents) and automatically derive meaning and relationships used to Protect, Power, and Promote the businesses of the next century. We have had a stellar growth record on the publicly traded London Stock Exchange. The Autonomy Web Content Management business is extending this growth by enabling businesses to Promote their offerings online using the TeamSite and LiveSite platforms to enable Meaning Based Marketing – that is to say we help our customers quickly build extremely powerful web applications that can target, personalize, and recommend content to users based on meaning inferred from their activities.
Responsibilities In this position, you will perform production software builds for all Autonomy Web Content Management products and deliver them to QA as well as make them available for Customer download. As your experience grows, you will work on projects to enhance and improve build and release process and infrastructure.
Requirements
• Experience with Windows and UNIX operating environments.
• Experience assembling hardware and installing operating systems on Windows and Linux. Solaris-sparc, Solaris-x86, HP/UX, AIX a plus.
• Expresses self well verbally and in writing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Desirable: Make, ANT, Perl, UNIX shell, Perforce, CGI programming.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, engineering or similar discipline from a top US university required, advanced degree preferred.
