Highway Inspector - Staffordshire  [09/12/2009]


 


Our Highway Inspection Team are looking for Highway Inspectors to undertake highway inspections as part of the Highway Authority's duties to inspect all roads on a periodic basis, or dealing with enquiries about highway problems that have been reported by the public.

 You will deal with all types of highway issues which will include defects, or requests for information about road works, traffic management and other community needs.

You will be working as part of the Staffordshire Highways partnership where the role you fulfil is essential to the efficient delivery of the highway service.

The post will require someone who can apply judgements about problems encountered on the highway and is able to effectively interact with members of the public

 You must have excellent communication and IT skills. Working as part of a team and to have the ability to think quickly.
