Job Function: Handles routine HVAC/maintenance tasks including: preventative maintenance (greasing, coil cleaning, filter replacement, belt replacement) for air handling equipment, process chillers and exhaust fans; purified water room maintenance including system regeneration and bed replacement; facility plumbing maintenance. Tools/Machines/Equipment Used: Chemicals, power tools, hand tools, calibrated test equipment, HVAC related test equipment. Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 11am - 7pm Minimum Education Requirements: High school diploma/GED plus 2 years of votech or Trade School in HVAC. Preferred Requirement: Universal EPA Refrigerant Certificate. Minimum Experience Required: One year of relevant experience. Must be mechanically inclined, able to use hand tools and power tools, able to handle all routine HVAC matters. Alternative Combination: High school diploma/GED and 4 additional years of HVAC work experience can substitute for the 2 years of trade school.
