Our Communications Department works to improve the impact, influence and reach of IIED and its partners’ research and experience.
Summary of role: We are seeking a communications volunteer to assist our Publications and Marketing Manager, ideally one day a week on an ongoing basis. You will be responsible for running our Free Dissemination Scheme for publications ensuring they reach a variety or organisations and institutions (e.g. libraries, NGOs, research centres, universities, etc) in Latin America, Asia and Africa. You are an enthusiastic person with an interest in sustainable development and communicating messages to a variety of audiences. You are able to conduct web-based research and are efficient at administrative tasks. Experience or an interest in publications coordination and/or marketing would be valuable.
