Responsibilities
- Work in a demanding, fast-paced atmosphere
- Support Omniture's multi-petabyte environment of SAN, NAS and direct attached storage
- Support a 24x7 distributed enterprise environment
- Participate in an on-call rotation by carrying a pager and responding to escalations from other team members and alerts
- Implement system updates and fixes
- Evaluate new or improved system architecture
- Operational provisioning and monitoring of storage resources
- Assist with on-site installations of storage hardware at Omniture datacenters (some travel required)
- Work closely with an existing team of skilled systems
Computer Science related Bachelor's Degree (within the last 12 months)
Minimum 2 years systems administration or equivalent experience
Excellent command line Linux/UNIX skills
Strong programming/scripting (bash, python, perl) skills
Strong technical problem solving skills
Clear communication and documentation of projects and procedures
Adherence to high consistency and standardization paradigms
Familiarity with 3par, BlueArc, Isilon, NexSan (or comparable) is a plus
