The Sr. Windows Systems Engineer role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the production systems that support our managed service clients Design, maintain, and deploy Microsoft Server based operating systems and technology solutionsArchitect, Configure, and maintain Active DirectoryInstall, configure, maintain, and monitor all server hardware and softwarePerform scheduled and emergency maintenance on server hardware and softwareParticipate in an on-call rotation for issue escalationMentor Jr. System Administrators7+ years Windows Systems Administrator experience including Active Directory, IIS, and Windows Server Operating SystemsExperience supporting highly complex applications with multiple dependenciesExcellent scripting and automation skills (SNMP, PowerShell, XML, etc.)Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and SSLWillingness to work occasional evenings and weekendsExperience with a wide variety of Industry Standard Servers (ISS) including HP, Dell, or IBMExperience working in large scale deployments (hundreds to thousands of servers)Significant experience working in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environmentBachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field is strongly encouragedExcellent troubleshooting & problem solving skillsExceptional interpersonal skills (written and oral) and ability to establish and maintain cooperative and harmonious working relationships with a variety peopleAbility to lift and install devices, up to 70 pounds in weight
