In the Geoscience Group you will be working in a multicultural group of 20 geologists, petrophysicists, geophysicists and technical assistants covering the full rage of operational and geoscience study work from depositional and structural modelling to detailed property characterisation. This is performed in close integration with our reservoir engineers, drilling department and corporate development team. The job opportunity also includes establishing and developing networks in the internal Maersk organisation and supporting external studies and representation.
Your role in Maersk Oil Qatar:
· Integrate new data from development into the geologic understanding of the reservoirs
· Evaluate and build reservoir models to support development and EOR evaluation
· Identify and perform reservoir characterisation studies
· Support development of our technical staff
· Project leader
Your qualifications:
· MS or higher degree in Geology
· 10 years of industry experience
· 3D geomodelling preferentially in Petrel
· Experience with carbonate reservoirs
· Strong analytical/communication skills
