As a result of our continued growth we have fantastic opportunity to join our Internal Audit Team as a Retail Stock Audit Assistant.

A Retail Stock Audit Assistant is required to work with the Retail Auditor.

The position is field based and will involve travelling to different retail branches, travel will be with the Auditor who is based in Lanarkshire.

Main Responsibilities

• The position is Field Based and will involve travelling to different retail branches as requested
• The Assistant will complete stock takes of Retail branches with the Auditor using laser data capture terminals linked to the branch's EPOS system
• It is essential that the assistant is numerate and able to communicate well at all levels
• Identify and investigate and report stock variances to the stock auditor
• Stock variances are identified and investigated by the Assistant, Auditor and Branch Manager
• Various administration checks in the branch as requested by the stock auditor
• To carry out one off projects as requested by the auditor

It is essential that the Assistant is numerate and able to communicate well at all levels and preferably comes from a similar role however, full training will be given.

A full driving licence is preferable, but not essential.

Hours of work will vary depending on the location of the branch, although an average daily guide would be 6.00 am to 3.00 PM (including travelling time). Flexibility is needed in the position due to varying hours and occasional overnight stays. Weekend work will also be required occasionally.
