HR Resourcing Manager  [26/04/2010]


 


We currently have a vacancy for a Resourcing Manager within our HR Service. The role will involve overseeing a team of eight staff who process circa 700 recruitment orders per annum. You will also be responsible for managing and improving all aspects of the recruitment service council wide and ensuring that the recruitment outcomes meet the long term strategic needs.

The Council are committed to a number of employment initiatives including a pledge to increase opportunities for local residents, the post holder will support these initiatives. The successful candidate will manage the Council’s outsourced temporary recruitment contract and ensure a robust redeployment process is in place to support organisational change across the Council.

Previous experience of managing a recruitment team in a high volume transactional environment is essential. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of the legal framework surrounding recruitment and be able to provide related advice to colleagues and hiring managers.

You must be able to demonstrate a strong customer focus, leadership and good interpersonal skills. The role will involve working in partnership with a number of internal and external partners and you will be expected to ensure good work relationships are established and maintained.
