Metering Team Leader  [19/04/2010]


 


Responsibilities:

· Ensure efficient execution of work and maximum utilisation for all technical and administrative personnel

· Ensure adequate resources are available to meet customers technical requirements

· Providing technical support, direction and setting priorities for engineers and consultants

· Perform ad-hoc consultancy and travel offshore as business requirements dictate

· Contribute to the development of work plans, schedules and estimates to meet customer requirements

· Enhance customer satisfaction through continuous improvement for all operational and commercial activities undertaken

· Technical input to service level agreements (SLA’s) and FPAL

· Maintain close customer relationship and communications

· Approving, coordinating and reporting for purchase requisitions, CTR’s and invoices

· Input, monitoring and reporting for operating budget

· Technical Input to commercial quotations and tenders

· To liaise with operational personnel, whilst supporting managers in their HR responsibilities and activities

· To comply with team requirements for reporting

Technical Assurance

· Technical authority for procedures, engineering changes, modifications and reports

· Technical authority for statement of requirement’s, basis of design and functional design specification’s

· Maintain metering and allocation reports and documentation securely

Resource Management

· Supervise technical and administrative personnel and foster effective team-work and collaboration

· Develop capability through coaching, development and appraisal of technical and graduate personnel

· Approving holidays and absences and coordinating personnel movements

· Assist in the recruitment of personnel

Key Accountabilities

· Ensure that all personnel are fully committed to the company's HSEQ policies, The “Golden Rules of Safety” and Horizon Zero

· Ensure Petrofac corporate best practice, company procedure and regulatory compliance are met

· Ensure that all personnel comply with the requirements and objectives of the business management system (mandatory)



Qualifications, skills and experience:

· Degree and significant experience in measurement; or

· Experience in a similar role

· A proven track record of working on liquid and gas flow measurement systems and a good working knowledge of their principles of operation, preferably within an oil and gas operator organisation

· High level of numeracy and IT skills

· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
