Plant Asset Management (PAM) is a global Engineering Consultancy that works with major oil & gas operators to maintain the integrity of their assets whilst delivering optimum performance and achieving regulatory compliance. Working at both the design and operational phases of an asset, performing specialist engineering troubleshooting role as well as preventative risk based screening of piping and structures. Plant Asset Management is a division of the Petrofac Production Solutions division.

2. Background of Role:

Plant Asset Management is currently seeking to recruit a senior consulting engineer to form part of a team of specialist consultant engineers and support the growth of the Engineering Integrity Group in the Americas region. They will manage and deliver engineering consultancy Projects, control resources and budgets within the specified demands to ensure the delivery of Plant Asset Management business goals and client requirements.

. Responsibilities/Duties

Managing and delivery of projects in line with contract specified targets, resources and budgets.

Carry out office and site based engineering integrity consultancy in areas of piping and structural integrity.

Provide technical mentoring to junior staff engaged in the implementation of maintenance strategies.

Develop and establish new contacts and business opportunities within the Americas region, with particular emphasis on the USA onshore and Gulf of Mexico regions.

4. Qualifications

 

Degree level qualified, preferably having, or working towards, corporate membership of a relevant Professional Institution.

Willingness to travel and work at client sites throughout the world for periods of up to a few weeks at a time.

Experience in the Oil & Gas, Energy, Process or Utility industry, ideally gained in operations or engineering consulting with a strong background in some of the following areas:

 

Integrity Engineering

Pipework dynamics

Stress Analysis

Structural/Marine Engineering

Piping risk assessments

 

Experience in computational FE analysis beneficial.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to establish good client relationships at all levels.

Team player, with the ability to work individually when required.

Above all we are looking for people with sound management skills and a strong vision as to how engineering integrity can truly add value; who can manage and deliver engineering consultancy projects; who will actively support development of new service areas and have the drive and ability to work with demanding international clients to achieve this vision.

Must have established a significant level of experience working in the USA onshore and Gulf of Mexico regions.
