• Work within a team of multi-skilled technicians to safely maintain the Ravenspurn North within the operational and maintenance procedures. Maximise plant availability
• Carry out breakdown maintenance tasks. To raise relevant permits with in the agreed time period and to suspend or cancel permits as appropriate.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to BP’s standards and procedures, minimising impact on production. Primary roll is asset integrity. Focus areas are 0% Safety Critical Overdues, operations and maintenance including breakdown correctives.
• Play key role in the Integrated Field Planning Process. In liaison with the Offshore Planner formulate & implement achievable 7 / 14 day plans on a rolling basis.
• Assist in TAR planning, implementation & close out activities.
• Complete all relevant sections of the MAXIMO work orders on completion of the tasks. Generate new work requests to highlight plant and equipment failures.
• Management of spares to ensure satisfactory completion of maintenance tasks.
• To be the focal point for the various utility systems maintenance issues. Develop a good working knowledge of the systems.
• Assist in the development of operational and maintenance procedures.
• Work closely with Onshore Support Engineers to resolve technical queries / problems.
• Provide assistance for projects, working with vendors and sub contractors as required.
• Co-ordination and communication between OTL- M and technicians to ensure the safe day to day running of the field.
• Demonstrate own safety commitment to all by working in a safe manner.
• Work within the ISSOW/SIRP process to manage conflicting activities and maintain safe working environment.
• Complete CBT for gas testing, CMAS, ISSOW, SIRP and other elements as required to maintain knowledge and safe working environment for the platform

Skills & Qualifications:

• Educated to NVQ / SVQ or equivalent standard and completion of a recognised apprenticeship scheme
• Should have pervious knowledge of ISSOW Permit to Work system
• Previous experience and willing to undertake Isolating Authority duties for ‘Own Electrical Isolations’ as per competency systems
• Some previous experience / knowledge in use of Maximo would be beneficial in the role (or similar CMMS system i.e. – SAP)
• Good communication skills
• Self motivated and enthusiastic when working as part of a team or on own initiative
• Use skills and experience to contribute to problem solving and improvements
