The ICT Team are seeking to appoint a database officer to administer the Capita “One” database, which will include all aspects of database administration and responsibility for data quality standards. As part of the MIS team, the post holder will work proactively with a wide range of staff across our education services and the Local Authority to maximise the use and potential of the database.
Experience of managing an oracle database system together with knowledge of database design and client server architecture, including SQL scripts, is essential. The successful candidate will have experience of working with third parties in maintaining a database and in problem resolution. The successful candidate will also possess the combination of the required technical skills together with an ability to communicate effectively.
