Role overview
- The Airside Transport Services Team Administrator is responsible for providing a general administrative support to the department ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
- In addition the role holder is responsible for ensuring that the department complies with all current legislation as set out by the Department for Transport (DfT) and other regulatory bodies and working within agreed practices and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential qualifications:
- Computer literacy – competent in Microsoft Office packages, e-mail and Lotus notes or proven capability to learn software packages.
- Good organisational and administration skills.
Experience:
- Experience typically associated with at least two years working, including but not limited to:
- Working knowledge of the transport environment, its acts, regulations and procedures.
- Good understanding of Transport Services and how the various disciplines interact.
- Planning, organisational and problem solving skills
- Practical PC and key board skills. Proprietary and some bespoke software packages.
- Understanding of all BAA/HAL staff policies including but not limited to diversity, absence management, disciplinary and grievance.
