Transnuclear, Inc., a subsidiary of Areva and premier provider of storage and transportation of spent nuclear fuel and other radioactive materials, is seeking a Senior Project Manager. The focus of this position will include:
- Providing project leadership for the storage of spent nuclear fuel;
- Responsible for completing projects under or on-budget and on-schedule;
- Providing primary interface between project team, management, and client(s);
- Managing cash flow and ensuring attainment of expected cash positions and cost declarations;
- Developing assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project(s);
- Utilizing approved project management methods and processes to execute projects in meeting client needs and expectations; and
- Preparing and tracking project schedule(s), budget(s), and materials and equipment within scope of project(s) to ensure satisfactory project performance.
Other duties may involve activities such as:
- Supporting the licensing, engineering/design, fabrication, installation and fuel loading efforts and/or the resolution of other projects.
