As a J2EE Application Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the day to day application support of J2EE, manage and install applications across a mixed platform (Windows and Linux) of web application server environments. You will support our internal customers in J2EE based solutions comprised of both propriety and open source components. To be successful you will have: - Extensive experience in commercial IT deploying and managing JBoss /Websphere systems within a large corporate environment
- Strong communication and customer facing skills
- Strong working knowledge TOMCAT, RedHat Linux, Apache and JBOSS
- Understanding of JAVA programming language
- Previous knowledge of system lifecycle and change management processes
