The Governing body of Blenheim Primary School & Nursery are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher to the post of Deputy Head. The person appointed will need enthusiasm, energy and vision to share in leading and managing our hardworking school. In particular the new Deputy will lead a renewed focus on teaching and learning to further raise out standards of attainment.

Blenheim Primary is situated on the outskirts of Orpington and has wonderful grounds.

The school can offer the opportunity to:

The successful candidate will:
• Be an outstanding KS2 classroom practitioner able to inspire and motivate children and colleagues
• Have a record of effective leadership contributing to raising standards
• The ability to lead, manage, motivate and inspire children, colleagues and parents/carers with flair,
sensitivity and with consistently high expectations
• High expectations of children’s learning and behaviour
• A sound knowledge of assessment, pupil tracking procedures and provision mapping
• A commitment to continuous school improvement
• A clear understanding of what it takes to raise standards
• Be committed to providing the highest quality education for the pupils of Blenheim Primary School & Nursery
