To be successful in this role you will need to have:
  • BSc Eng - Mechanical (Electrical an option).
  • 10 to 15 years in project, engineering, design and maintenance functions with at least 5 years in project management.
  • Sound knowledge of project management, as well as excellent understanding of project engineering and design requirements for mining infrastructure, rail, ports and/or process plants.
  • Sound knowledge of management of Engineering & design contracts and preparation of capital estimates.
  • Involved in site construction of projects.
  • Involved in preparation of scopes of work, safety aspects, specifications, schedules, etc. for project contracts.
  • Knowledge of contract negotiations.
