To work closely with the Deputy Head Teacher in the supervision of children at lunchtime. To be aware of the values, vision, aims and ethos of Tubbenden Primary School and promote these at lunchtime. To be aware of the “Policy for Midday Supervisors”. To promote good manners and thoughtful behaviour at lunch time, both in the hall, in the playground and on the field.To be aware of the “Health & Safety Policy” and to follow it’s requirements. To report all head injuries to the Deputy Head Teacher or other designated member of staff. To report any unsafe situations or equipment to the Deputy Head Teacher or caretaker. To mop up immediately all spillages on tables or hall floor. To be aware of children on the medical register and of their specified needs. To record all accidents in Accident Book and inform the Deputy Head Teacher. To be aware of needs of children in the A.R.U. To be aware of procedures in case of Fire Alarm. To understand the need for constant vigilance in the hall, classroom, playground and courtyard. To organise games and activities in the playground or classroom. To make sure the children have washed their hands before eating their meal.
