Applications are invited for the above post based at the Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham. The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Physiotherapy is part of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and aims to be a centre of national and international excellence in research, education and practice development.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, together with the ability to work flexibly and as part of a team. Candidates must have first-rate IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.  Experience of database input and retrieval is essential, as is the use of Email.

Candidates should have secretarial/administrative experience at a level which requires a minimum of supervision and be educated to at least GCSE standard (or equivalent). It is desirable that candidates possess NVQ Level 2/3 in Administration (or equivalent) or RSA Stage II word processing (or equivalent).  Good organisational skills and the ability to work accurately under pressure in order to meet deadlines are also required, together with significant experience of working in a demanding office environment.
