The CLAHRC Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire & Lincolnshire (CLAHRC NDL) is a collaborative partnership between The University of Nottingham and NHS Trusts and local authorities in the East Midlands. Within a multidisciplinary context of behavioural medicine and organisational learning, CLAHRC NDL will develop capacity at organisational and individual levels in the local healthcare economy.

Applications are invited for the above post based in the School of Community Health Sciences, Division of Rehabilitation and Ageing and part of the CLAHRC Stroke Rehabilitation Theme. 

This post is an exciting opportunity to join the CLAHRC administrative team at the University of Nottingham. The person appointed will provide administrative support to a research programme related to translation of innovation into practice in healthcare.  Research activities will be carried out in collaboration with stroke services operating in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire and with staff working within hospitals, primary care trusts and local authorities.  The person appointed will provide research and administrative support to the theme lead, senior administrator and researchers within the Stroke Rehabilitation Theme. The post will involve a range of duties including, equipment booking/ordering, arranging meetings, minute taking, administration of office procedures and systems.

Candidates should possess five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including English and mathematics. It is desirable that candidates also hold NVQ 3 Administration (or equivalent). They should have significant experience in a relevant secretarial/administrative role. Proven expert ability with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel is essential.  Prior experience of working in an academic or NHS environment involved in research will be an advantage.
