Applications are invited for the above post to manage the CLAHRC Engagement, Synthesis and Dissemination Theme at the University of Nottingham based at the Jubilee Campus, supporting the work of the Engagement Theme Lead. The person appointed will manage a diverse team of academics and technical experts in developing and monitoring theme plans and objectives and will represent the theme both externally and internally. This role will include staff recruitment and contract management, project costing and budget management, publication and dissemination of research outputs and ensuring that research studies are conducted within required protocols.
Candidates should hold a higher degree, or equivalent qualification, in a relevant subject and have significant experience as a research project manager (including financial management) involving multiple stakeholders. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are essential as is the ability to motivate and influence a multidisciplinary team. Experience of working with project management software and the MS Office applications is essential. Candidates should be capable of working autonomously and proactively and must be willing to travel within the East Midlands.
