Duties will include:

• Teaching designated programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level.  
• Academic management of the MA programmes, and the ability to promote and develop provision in this area.
• Supervision of PhD students in your area of specialism.
• Working with management to promote and expand academic and research activities.

Candidates should have experience in teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate level within Higher Education. Ideally, they should also have had some school based experience and experience in academic management. Candidates should have a good honours degree, together with a PhD in one of the three areas of specialism: TESOL, Special Needs Education and Educational Leadership, be research active and able to participate constructively as a member of an academic team.
