Applications are invited for the above post in the Nottingham University Business School China which is part of the Nottingham University Business School, a leading centre for management, business education and research in one of the most prominent and popular universities in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver lectures and seminars across all years of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations. In addition, there are excellent opportunities for research, and the person appointed will be expected to develop their own research activities and to contribute to the research activities of the School.

Candidates must have a PhD (or be close to completion) in a relevant discipline, or hold equivalent professional qualifications in Accountancy, together with the ability to produce high quality research. Experience of teaching in relevant subjects at degree level in an international English-speaking institution is also essential.

The post will initially be offered on a fixed term contract with the University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China for a period of up to 7 years with effect from 1 September 2010. This contract may be extended on an indefinite basis by mutual agreement, subject to revised terms and conditions.
