Within its Rail Division, Atkins has an exciting and challenging portfolio of projects and Clients. The Projects Business undertakes a wide variety of signalling renewal and other network enhancement projects on behalf of our primary Client, Network Rail. We are currently looking for a Signal Design Engineer to be based in our Croydon office.
Able to carry out Safety Critical Work UK Signalling Design Engineer skills including knowledge of standards, procedures, CAD Experience of UK signalling design Experience of signalling design checking Fit and able to work trackside. IRSE Design Licence: 1.1.110 (Designer) PTS Degree/HNC in Electrical Engineering or similar Produce designs, specifications, reports and working drawings to meet contract requirements within agreed timescales and performance parameters Implement the requirements of Atkins Rail Business Management System, Core Assurance Case and Railway Safety Case Assist in determination of engineering policy and deal with engineering and contractual matters with professional integrity at all times As a Sunday Times Top 20 Employer we believe in looking after our staff.
