Responsibilities:
In this role, you’ll have frequent interactions with the Head of Strategy and Research, and colleagues from the Private Equity, Real Estate, Fixed Income and Equities teams
You’ll be involved in the extension and maintenance of the hedge fund investments and will be a member of the Alternative Investment Committee.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing manager searches in various hedge fund strategies and conducting in-depth due diligence on hedge fund managers
- Preparing investment proposals for the Alternative Investment Committee
- Conducting hedge fund reporting, both internally and to clients
- Monitoring a part of the existing hedge funds, and exploring new hedge fund strategies
- Building and maintaining a network in the hedge fund industry
- Contributing (on an ad-hoc basis) to the hybrid alternatives portfolio and alternative strategy discussions
- Requirements: With a passion for hedge funds, you’ll have significant experience in the investment management industry, including experience of selecting and managing hedge funds.You’ll hold a Master’s degree in Econometrics, Economics, Finance or a similarly quantitative background, and having a CFA or VBA qualification would be an advantage.You’ll have strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to think creatively and manage a complex investment process.Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills mean you’ll be able to liaise effectively with all levels of management, and colleagues from other disciplines.
