Housing issues have never been more pressing and here at Manchester we want to get ahead of the game.  The redesign of our Private Sector Housing service will spearhead a wider programme of change in Neighbourhood Services and over the last 12-18 months we have made significant progress to improve service delivery at a local level.  To support the new service we are seeking an exceptional and experienced individual with a strategic grasp of the aims and activities of Private Sector Housing.

As Neighbourhood Team Lead you will have responsibility for neighbourhood management activity and capital works in a significant part of the city, playing a critical role in terms of service delivery and in shaping neighbourhoods.

Innovative and persuasive, you will be able to operate effectively in a political environment.  You will have a strong track record in leading and managing staff and teams, financial monitoring and analysis, performance management and significant knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework and key issues relevant to private sector housing market.
