We invite applications for the post of Lecturer in Metabonomics from researchers in the area of microbial metabolomics, principally in the area of gut microbiota. Wider knowledge of key diet and human health is appropriate to interface with other research strengths in the Department. The successful applicant will play a major role in the future development and success of the FMSU group. We will particularly welcome applications from those with experience in the areas of probiotics, prebiotics and gut function. The applicant will be expected to conduct human studies and supervise other researchers. The ability to attract funding from research councils and other funding bodies(especially industry) is vital.
