Develops, implements and maintains budgeting systems for area.
- Works with senior management to develop strategies for meeting financial goals and maintaining adherence to budget.
- Generates and reviews revenue forecasts, expense reports and other financial reports, monitoring progress toward goals and adherence to budget.
- Determines accounting methods to be used for financial transactions and/or reporting based on accepted accounting/financial principles.
- Participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of financial reporting systems.
- Provides financial reports to the organization which tracks budget performance data on a monthly basis.
- Ensures accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Excellent communication skills, maturity & reliability
- Energetic, able to work independently within a hands on environment
- Good command of MS Excel applications and proficiency in the use of IT reporting tools
- Able to meet tight reporting deadlines
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Asia Pacific accounting standards and practices
- Knowledge of software business and revenue recognition is an added advantage
- Fast learner, efficient and hard working
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualified individuals with 6 to 8 years financial reporting and analysis experience.
- Hands-on experience in an international management environment, strong financial and business planning skills is required.
- A Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance is required; an advanced degree in Business Administration or Qualified Accountant is an added advantage.
