Internal Auditor - Bristol  [24/02/2010]

Brief Description

Scientific and technical expertise is vital to creating a better environment, but sound risk management plays a very important role too. The remit of the Internal Audit team extends right across the organisation and by challenging working practices we can ensure the organisation is operating effectively.

Vacancy description

The role involves planning and performing audits throughout the business, identifying ways to improve risk management and performance, and reporting to the Directors’ Team and Risk & Audit Committee. Internal audit team members deal with staff at all levels and gain a rapid understanding of the organisation. Candidates need business acumen, strong communication skills and the ability to deliver work on time and to budget.

You might come from a chemical, water, engineering, environmental, business, risk management or operational environment, but recent experience in internal audit is essential for the role. You should also be, or willing to start, working towards a professional audit qualification.

Help transform the way we deliver environmental improvements. Work for what you wish for.
