FUNCTION • Conduct FLO-CERT Fairtrade audits. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES • To carry out FLO-CERT Fairtrade audits against Fairtrade Standards at Certified Operators in South Asia. TASKS • Audits in South Asia: Pakistan and Bangladesh (and other neighboring countries as needed). • Scheduling of audits as requested by FLO-CERT. • Audits of producers, traders and manufacturers in the specified countries. • Completion of audit report, including identification of all relevant non-conformities. REPORTING TO Regional Manager Asia Your Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Necessary: • University level education (or equivalent) in a relevant subject (Economics, Accounting, Food Science, Agronomy, etc.). • At least 2 years experience in auditing (e.g. Fairtrade, organic, ISO 9001:2000, SA8000, ISO 14001 or financial audits) • At minimum 2 years work experience in relevant Asian countries • Fluent in English (mandatory), relevant local language, both oral and written • Strong commercial skills • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work independently • Ability to be assertive, unbiased and impartial Advantageous • Business experience • Technical knowledge of the products: Cotton (textile industry), Sports Balls, Textiles and other manufactured agricultural products • Knowledge of one or more of the following certification schemes: Fairtrade, Organic, ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001, Euregap We look forward to receiving your application!
