Tasks:
Overall: Collect annual sales figure reports from 20 Licensing Initiatives (LI). Compile the annual global sales figure.
The responsibility includes:
· To track the submission of sales figure reports from LIs and ensure activities are on timeline
· To validate the inputs, flag the possible mistakes to the LIs, enter the data into the database
· To send verification for correction / reminder to the LIs and make sure the LIs send their data in time
· To create a chart/table using MS Access
· To track all the correspondences with LIs
· To flag issues to the data analyst
Requirements:
· Detailed and precise oriented
· Excellent in communication in English
· Experience in Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and especially use of Excel – use of Access an asset)
· Excellent in collaboration with others
· Independent
· Customer orientation
· Studies in the field of Economics, Finance, Informatics or related field an asset
· Experience in working for Fairtrade or related organisations an asset
· Only applicants can be considered who are enrolled in German universities
Terms and Conditions:
· Working time 20 hours per week, distributed flexible
· Remuneration in line with applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement, Tarifvertrag Groß- & Außenhandel NRW,10 Euro per hour
· Duration: 4 month

The concept of fair trade has been around for over 40 years according to FINE but a formal labelling scheme didnt get off the ground until the late 1980s. 1988: launch of the first Fairtrade label, Max Havelaar, under the initiative of the Dutch development agency Solidaridad. The first Fairtrade coffee from Mexico was sold into Dutch supermarkets. It was branded "Max Havelaar," after a fictional Dutch character who opposed the exploitation of coffee pickers in Dutch colonies.
