Project Operation & Maintenance of rail tracks in Västra Götaland is by far the largest construction sector, which Banverket is procured in the overall package. The order consists of three contracts which cover a total of 1 273 km of railway. We have begun work to be equipped for work start on 1 September 2010. In its entirety, we will need to recruit over 100 new employees for this project.

We believe in the winning team and looking for site managers who are willing change, responsibility and having one coaching style of management. You are willing to start something new and you will be able to influence and structure the way we carry out our commitment in Västra Götaland.

As branch manager you will be located at any of our locations and serve as project manager's outstretched arm. You will plan, operate and conduct operations against the commitment to the customer, ie you will be responsible for the operational management of production on site, including personnel management and project short-term material and financial.

Site manager is responsible, in cooperation with our HMSQ function also for security and working on setting up.

We are looking for someone who have at least secondary technical education, being valued your high personal qualities. For the service, you should have previous experience in business management, preferably in combination with experience from the contracting sector and good knowledge of contract law and Lou (The Law on Public Procurement).

You also have good knowledge of MS Office package, for example, cost control and scheduling. It is expected that you have negotiating skills, you are customer focused and has the habit of maintaining good relations with project stakeholders.

You need to be a team leader taking command of situations of uncertainty. Furthermore, we appreciate the industry-from railway premises, commercial and financial focus, that you are willing change and accountability with a coaching style of management. Additionally requires a high level of safety.

We are searching for two site managers with possible placement in Göteborg, Trollhättan, Töreboda or Falköping
