We’re looking for someone with a basic understanding of AutoCAD who enjoys working in a technical environment. For the administration side of the role you’ll need to demonstrate that you’re highly organised with great attention to detail and that you cope well with a busy workload, and at times under pressure. A great communicator, both written and verbal, you’ll enjoy working as part of a busy team and build relationships easily with colleagues and customers. A good general standard of computer literacy is required in Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and ideally GIS.
The projects we work on vary in size and specification, and your role will be to provide support with taking the statistics provided by the various utilities companies and mapping out those details using AutoCAD. Working remotely with our small team in India, you’ll also help to supervise their mapping/drawing activities and the support they provide, checking their work and answering any technical queries that may arise. Your responsibilities will also include the following: - Ensuring that all requests are delivered on time and to deadline
- Where necessary, obtain maps from various GIS systems
- Liaise with clients and utility companies on a regular basis
- Provide the administrative support elements such as filing, faxing, data input, managing databases etc.
