Duties:

The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office seeks an experienced applicant for a ARRA VAWA funded Victim Witness Advocate position.
Duties will include:
• Crisis and risk assessment and intervention.
• Safety planning and 209 A restraining order advocacy.
• Provide information support and referral services to domestic violence victims during the court process as mandated by M.G.L. 258B.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, 1-3 years work experience in crisis intervention, human services or criminal justice specializing in domestic violence and sexual assault issues required. Experience in District and Superior Court advocacy preferred.

Bi-lingual and bi-cultural applicants are encouraged to apply.

Comments:

Please note that this position is funded by a grant from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act - ARRA (Federal Stimulus) and the position is funded for 12 months.
