Jobholder's responsibilities :
Deployment and Improvement of TMTL activities

in close relationship with heads of operations, convince, motivate, challenge :
a. implementation of the new centralized organization
b. extension & re-shaping of the Transportation network
c. transformation of the Logistics infrastructure (logistics hubs …)
d. creation of a harmonized forecasting/ordering center
Change manager activity

e. analyses, assess “as is” organization & operations,
f. designs and proposes “to be” solution(s),
g. supports decision making (pros/cons, business cases),
h. specifies business requirements for procedures, methods, tools, I.S.,
i. assesses risks (techniques, social, …) and proposes mitigation plan
j. contributes to implementation (build deployment roadmap with clear go/no go milestones) & maintenance (service level agreements, operational KPI’s, contracts & conditions with service providers …) of the new system

Improvement manager activity

k. drives and supports continuous improvement of operations, permanently explores, innovates, optimizes the ways of working, challenges heads of operations, deploy & promotes LEAN concept and Extended Enterprise, deploy new processes, methods and tools proposed by TMTM
l. anticipates, prepares with TMTD the evolution of the TMTL operations to cope with Airbus business strategy and industrial set-up (make to buy, ramp-up, new risk sharing partnerships, new Aircraft program, change in manufacturing footprint,…)

The jobholder will deliver

A. Tangible solutions for TMTL organization and structure to manage the shared SC&L operations, deployment roadmaps (and support the implementation)

B. Service Level Agreements to set-up with internal customers, associated KPI’s, any requested business requirement or specification for I.S. (tracking systems, …), requirements for skills development in the function

C. Improvement initiatives to support shared operations performance and costs, new operating solutions to answer to new need or development expressed by production
