To take a key role in the leadership and management of a large successful Department dedicated to achieving the highest possible standards for our students. The ability to teach Physics to KS5 is essential. Specific responsibilities are to be negotiated.
Cannock Chase High School is an 11 - 18 mixed comprehensive school with 1,500 pupils on roll. We are a specialist Science College. Students and staff are warm, open and supportive to one another and proud of the school. Mutual respect is a key feature of our relationships here.
The Department:
•is located in a suite of 15 specialist rooms including an ICT suite;
•is well resourced with lap top computers and interactive white boards;
•has benefited from extensive refurbishment of laboratories;
•achieves good standards at all key stages;
•is staffed by dedicated, supportive and high quality teachers and technicians;
•attracts large numbers of students onto AS and A2 courses.
