Generator Support Technician [11/02/2010] |

| Assist customers by telephone or email with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems on current and past products. Periodically travel to customer locations to provide troubleshooting, start-up or system integration assistance. Assist customers and district offices in identifying correct parts to complete repairs. Provide application and integration support to customers and district offices. Receive, evaluate and process returned components and systems. Repair returned systems for return to customer, restocking or resale (Scratch & Dent). Assist with or conduct customer education classes (both sales and service), including driving support and hosting seminar dinners. Assist in creating technical publications. Provide other related duties as required. 3 years experience with compression and/or spark ignited engines and electrical power generation/distribution | Proven track record of superior customer service. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to multitask. Exercise creative problem solving. Exercise good business judgment. Work well with others. Experienced with analog, digital and PLC controls. Working knowledge of BUS (SAP) a plus. Must possess a valid drivers license. |
