In this role, you will work with customers using your customer service / collections skills for the purpose of lowering DSO and over 30+ day delinquency.

Some of the key challenges of this position include:

  • Calling all assigned accounts by telephone and following up in writing as appropriate
  • Negotiating payment plans with customers
  • Determining when to withdraw credit privileges
  • Designating those invoices or balances that are in dispute
  • Reconciling balances and collecting or adjusting as appropriate
  • Determining when third party collection is necessary and assign accounts to third party for collection
  • Communicating activity to the appropriate Credit Managers and Regional Credit Managers
  • Performing other duties as needed
Requirements:
The successful candidate who fills this role will have the following skills/experience:

  • Previous experience working directly with customers, preferably in a lending or customer service setting
  • Prior collections experience a must
  • Ability to work independently
    Ability to effectively communicate - both verbal and written
  • Must be able to effectively manage your schedule to meet urgent deadlines
  • Must be able to multi-task and to prioritize
  • Must be detail oriented and have strong follow-up skills
