In this role, you will work with customers using your customer service / collections skills for the purpose of lowering DSO and over 30+ day delinquency.
Some of the key challenges of this position include:
- Calling all assigned accounts by telephone and following up in writing as appropriate
- Negotiating payment plans with customers
- Determining when to withdraw credit privileges
- Designating those invoices or balances that are in dispute
- Reconciling balances and collecting or adjusting as appropriate
- Determining when third party collection is necessary and assign accounts to third party for collection
- Communicating activity to the appropriate Credit Managers and Regional Credit Managers
- Performing other duties as needed
| | Requirements: | The successful candidate who fills this role will have the following skills/experience:
- Previous experience working directly with customers, preferably in a lending or customer service setting
- Prior collections experience a must
- Ability to work independently
Ability to effectively communicate - both verbal and written
- Must be able to effectively manage your schedule to meet urgent deadlines
- Must be able to multi-task and to prioritize
- Must be detail oriented and have strong follow-up skills
