The Science Learning Centre East of England is committed to providing high quality professional development in science to Early Years and Primary educators across East England. The Science Learning Centre East of England is part of the National Network of Science Learning Centres. It is based at the University of Hertfordshire and acts as a focus for CPD provision in the Eastern Region, with courses running both physically at the Centre and at Satellite venues throughout the region. Due to a secondment from the SLC EE Primary Development team, a vacancy (0.4 FTE) has arisen for a primary teacher with a passion for science who is seeking a new challenge. We are looking for someone with real drive and enthusiasm to join the SLC EE team, and to develop and lead CPD courses in Science for Early Years and Primary teachers in East England. There is flexibility over the hours and place of work.
