Within the context of the team approach of the Client Insights & Solutions, the job's purpose is to assist with the origination and execution of client led engagements in South Asia. We seek an individual with a wealth of knowledge in banking and finance related activities and excellent stakeholder management skills to take on the challenges of this exciting role.

You will report in to the CIS Directors, ANZ Singapore and work closely with the Asian Relationship Management team, to ensure the necessary financial modeling, transaction management; pitch books and deal capabilities are brought to bear on client opportunity. Primarily, you will lend your support towards the marketing and development of client relationships which includes contributing to the origination/development of new business for ANZ and marketing execution of cross sell opportunities. Your excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are needed to effectively lead the internal execution of transactions for key clients in South Asia and achieve successful deal closures. Your expertise and efforts at seamless service will go a long way in positioning ANZ as a commercial bank with a high quality of service and leading insight on our clients and their industries.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be experienced in preparing documents relating to origination, financial modeling, and execution of commercial banking transactions. A working understanding of technical aspects of accounting, tax, legal, risk pertaining to structured and/or trade finance is desired, as is a strong background in financial modeling.

Imperative to your success will be your desire to understand and apply market and industry trends to the situations of ANZ's clients. While good communication skills in English are essential, proficiency in other languages will be an advantage. An undergraduate degree in finance / economics / commerce / law / engineering (or equivalent) will add value to your candidature.
