Responsibilities
You will assist in managing the financial and management accounting functions of the polytechnic and its subsidiaries, including:
• Preparation of annual budgets • Allocation of manpower costs to projects • Preparation of management reports/statistics • Analysis of manpower and operating costs • Submission of claims to government bodies
Requirements
• A good Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration or equivalent • At least 5 years’ relevant working experience • Experience in using IT software, especially Excel in a financial environment. Candidates with experience in using PeopleSoft Human Resource/Financials will be at an advantage • Experience in handling payroll and/or budgets in a public sector environment • Prior experience in handling income tax, GST and withholding tax is desirable
