ResponsibilitiesClosing of the Annual Statutory Accounts under German GAAP (HGB) Preparation of the monthly/quarterly/yearly reports of E.ON Energy Trading according to IFRS rules (incl. reporting within SAP-SEM) Update and maintenance of the General Ledger of E.ON Energy Trading at a high standard Participation in integration and accounting improvement projects Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and internal control system Contact for internal and external auditors as well as service providers Responsibility for the development and maintenance of MS Access Databases for accounting and reporting purposes
QualificationsSuccessfully completed business or economics degree with a focus on finance, accounting, auditing or an equivalent course of study Some years of related experience in a similar role and deep experience of monthly and year end closing Experience in German GAAP and IFRS, US-GAAP would be a plus Affinity to IT systems, preferably SAP-FI, SAP-SEM and Microsoft Office, expertise required in MS Access A very good command of German is essential as well as a good knowledge of English. Organizational, analytical and communication skills as well as a solution-oriented mindset High level of engagement, enjoy working in an international team
