We require a Surgery Assistant to join our expanding laser eye surgery and IOL business. This is an opportunity to work in exclusively private, superbly equipped refractive surgery clinics alongside excellent support staff. Working within the surgery team to ensure the delivery of effective, and World class patient care.
You will be reporting to the Surgery Manager.

• Conducting tests prior to treatment and assisting during the consent process
• Instructing the patient post procedure on the care of the eyes
• Assist patients in and out of the treatment and consultation rooms, including preparation of the eye prior to treatment
• Participating in the end of treatment day activities; updating patient files, filing, compiling ‘end of day’ reports for head office, cleaning the laser suite
• The preparation of patient files for surgery, including checking patient data
• Stock ordering, receipt, storage and rotation
• Participate in the maintenance of a safe environment for patients and colleagues, and completing risk assessments

• Good mobility and willingness to travel
• Excellent communication skills 
• Prior experience in a Surgical environment is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
