Responsibilities

· Formulate Business and strategic plan for the Transaction Banking Group in conjunction with the CAO.

· Participate various leadership forums including internal management meeting activities, management routines, reporting, processes and planning.

· Liaise with other positions in Legal, Compliance, Audit etc as necessary on internal and external audits and inspections.

· As part of transition management in the Country, champion consistency of transition and integration approach as appropriate.

· Encourage cost savings and efficiency measures in partnership with Finance Group.

· Build relationships with regulatory and governmental departments where appropriate

· Understand and actively manage demand and capacity relationship across operational processes.

· Support governance activities across the India Franchaise.

· Ensure a current business continuity plan is in place for all locations in-country and as an integration point for any BCP event along with Country Executive and Country Crisis Management Team.

· Pro-actively resolve broad operational issues and co-ordinates activities and processes with other businesses/ operations segments.

· Effectively office premises in co-ordination with Corporate Workplace for all locations in the country.

· Analyze/Assess operations risk and support in developing effective counter measures.

· Actively engage in Diversity and Inclusion, Community, Philanthropy and Sustainable Banking initiatives and events.

· Develop department programs, policies and procedures as required in co-ordination with the Regional Team.

 


Requirements

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

· MBA or equivalent with Professional qualification (eg Accounting qualification/ Consulting/ Legal)

· Has held a senior mgt position in one of the following areas – operations, Transaction Banking/ Accounting.

· Held a similar position for a minimum of 3 to 5 years.

· Strong leadership and management through collaboration and negotiation

Skills

§ Financial Services knowledge

§ Project Mgt/Change Mgt/Process improvement

§ Ability to identify and mitigate Risks as well as manage issues
