Programme Analyst  [25/01/2010]


 


This role will involve working as part of a focused team providing comprehensive Management Information for the Waste Water Capital Programme to ensure compliance, achieving company obligations and identifying risks to delivery. This role is responsible for Capital Programme reporting in the context of the Waste capital programme and generating, analysing and presenting data to key stakeholders in the context of the Waste Capital Programme.

Key Accountabilities:
•Accountable for the production of the agenda and associated approval papers and schedules for key approval bodies.
•Assessing investment priorities and their impact on the Capital programme.
•Producing analysing and presenting Management Information to key stakeholders and approval bodies.
•Assist with workload allocation across Waste Water Services
•Produce, present and monitor financial target setting information.
•Liaise with other Stakeholders within STW to co-ordinate the best solution to business requirements e.g. Asset Creation teams, Service Delivery teams, Strategy Teams, Finance and Regulation
•Support the development of future capital funding requirements for AMP5.
•Provide technical and admin support to key approval bodies.
Experience:
Essential:
•Experience in producing, analysing and presenting management information data.
•Experience in using IT systems with intermediate knowledge of using Microsoft Excel.
•Knowledge of financial management and experience in producing financial management reports.
Desirable:
•Knowledge of Capital programme management and delivery.
•Knowledge of the regulatory framework.
•Use of SAP would be a distinct advantage.

•Good networking and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
•Effective planning, organising and implementation skills.
•Analytical with the ability to analyse and interpret information.
•The ability to work well as part of a team and alone using own initiatives.
•The willingness to learn and develop within the role.
Qualifications:
Essential:
•Recognised qualification or extensive experience in Excel Intermediate level.
•Relevant business and / or IT literacy qualification or equivalent.
Desirable:
•Educated to degree level /HNC or equivalent.
•Full UK Driving Licence.
