Culture Integration Director - Andover MA USA [11/01/2010]
Your Responsibilities:
The Culture Integration Director will to the following for Philips Healthcare:
- Define the cultural integration approach (e.g. negotiable and non-negotiable elements of culture)
- Develop the standard for cultural integration (e.g. key messaging, manager toolkit, welcome kit)
- Work with New Ventures Integration organization (NVI) to align with corporate framework
- Continuous improvement of cultural integration activity to enhance acquisition value
Duties specific to Healthcare acquisitions:
- Design the high-level cultural integration roadmap with the integration manager
- Develop a supporting detailed cultural integration project plan that addresses activities, deliverables, milestones and timeline
- Train and coach integration managers and workstream leaders on all aspects of cultural integration
- Design and deploy a comprehensive employee communication plan
- Provide guidance and hand-off to HR after defined 3-6 month period
Your Profile:
• Requires BS degree, prefer Masters in Business Administration, Organizational Development or related field of study
• 10+ years experience in cultural integration (merger and acquisition)
• Experience with integration efforts Globally (specifically with Emerging Markets)
• Demonstrated expertise in integration tools and techniques
• Exceptional communication skills
• Self-starter with drive, determination, focus and initiative
• Demonstrated ability to work across global organizations

• Knowledge of cultural integration best practices
• Demonstrated use of effective communications tools and methodologies
• Influence effectively without formal authority
• Deal with ambiguity and recognize patterns
• Strong analytical capabilities
